Union Mechanic

Overview:Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.Full-time union position will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and refurbish amusement rides and their subsystems. The individual will ensure all rides and equipment comply with all operating standards and requirements.Responsibilities:* Perform visual inspections of assigned rides and attractions* Maintain, erect, repair and trouble-shoot various theme park rides and attractions* Visually inspect machines and equipment* Remove and or replace equipment parts using hand and or power tools* perform routine preventative maintenance on various equipment including rides and attractions* Keep a daily log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance* Assist with other duties/departments as assigned* Adhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as required* Support the company Mantra of providing Friendly, Clean, Fast and Safe Service to our GuestsQualifications:* High School diploma or equivalent* Pneumatics troubleshooting and repairs xijylhu working with schematic* Mechanical repairs following ASTM ride standards* Welding 6G certified* Machining experience working from drawings using lathe and milling machine* Must be able to trouble-shoot safety and emergency equipment, including respirators and safety harnesses* Must have hand tools to perform required duties and tasks as assigned
