Career Advancement Opportunities!!_______________________________________________________Essential duties and responsibilities:Responsible for caseload assigned of consumers that are job ready and recommended by the Mission Services counselors.Write daily discharge summaries for referral agency/stakeholders for each consumer.Collaborate with supervisors, worksite staff, and participants to ensure positive outcome in Mission Services program services. Teach participants tasks for jobs during assessments. Track progress, maintain consumer contact, and provide transitional support.Coach and promote personal growth for each individual to reach quality standards.Ensure all paperwork is completed per Mission Services procedures._______________________________________________________Education and Experience:High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.At least one year of experience working with people who have disabilitiesSpecial training helpful in human relations, job development techniques, behavioral science, marketing and communications.Must have computer skills, including Microsoft Office.   _______________________________________________________Other Qualifications:Dependable, tactful, resourceful, show initiative, and has good judgment.Must have reliable transportation, a valid Michigan driver’s license, a safe driving record and maintain car insurance.Complete MDCH Direct Care Training or equivalent.May require lifting up to 25 pounds._______________________________________________________Our Mission:  To assist individuals with barriers to employment in making the transition to independence and self-sufficiency. Did you know?Our profits help fund programs that help people with obstacles in finding work so that they can go out into the world and be successful!  We recycle everything possible! In 2023, we kept over 8 million lbs. of STUFF from ending up in landfills!!
