Under the general direction of the Sales & Marketing Administrative Services Manager (SSM II), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs HR/Personnel, Policy, and Administrative duties for the Sales & Marketing division. The AGPA performs a wide variety of consultative and analytical services related to personnel actions, recruitment, staffing, policy management, and other administrative functions for the Lottery's largest division.The Sales & Marketing division is the largest division in the Lottery with over 500 employees that perform a wide variety of functions and activities, from product development and marketing communications to distribution and servicing and supporting over 23,000 retailers, directly contributing to generating over $9 billion in revenue and $2 billion in supplemental funds to California's public education.This position requires a current AGPA exam. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office as needed. Travel expense to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
