Description A healthcare organization located in Rutland is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative anesthesia care team. This opportunity offers the ability to work in a supportive clinical environment providing anesthesia services for a variety of surgical and procedural cases. Position Overview The CRNA will provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. The provider will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective anesthesia management throughout the perioperative process. Key Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic proceduresConduct pre-anesthesia patient assessments and review medical historiesDevelop and implement anesthesia care plansMonitor patients vital signs and anesthesia levels during proceduresManage airway support and anesthesia induction and emergenceProvide post-anesthesia care and monitor patient recoveryMaintain accurate and timely patient documentationCollaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and quality care Community Overview Located in the scenic Green Mountains, Rutland offers a welcoming community with a high quality of life and abundant outdoor recreation. Requirements General Requirements Master s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia programCurrent certification as a Certified Registered Nurse AnesthetistActive or eligible Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in VermontCertification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse AnesthetistsStrong knowledge of anesthesia practices, pharmacology, and patient monitoringExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environmentCommitment to providing safe, high-quality patient care Preferred Qualifications Clinical experience in hospital-based anesthesia careExperience with a variety of surgical specialties and anesthesia techniquesFamiliarity with modern anesthesia equipment and monitoring technology
