Registered Nurse - Hospice Care - Night Shift

In this vital role, you will deliver skilled nursing care in our inpatient center, focusing on holistic patient needs. Utilize clinical tools and data to accurately assess patient needs. Create, implement, and regularly update personalized care plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances. Educate patients and their caregivers about available benefits, services, and resources to enhance their experience. Document complex medical information meticulously to improve overall care outcomes. Adhere to quality care processes in compliance with regulatory guidelines and our organization's policies. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, physicians, and stakeholders. Respond promptly and compassionately to the needs of patients and their families. Possess basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Build and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Work full-time night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, three shifts per week, including weekends. Requirements: Professional: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current licensure or eligibility in Kentucky and Ohio. A minimum of one year's experience in a patient care role within a hospital, nursing home, or similar healthcare facility is preferred. Personal: We are looking for candidates who exhibit qualities such as empathy, responsibility, and dependability. Effective communication skills with team members, patients, providers, and family members are essential. Ability to work independently without direct supervision, alongside demonstrated leadership and teaching capabilities. Must maintain the state minimum for automobile liability insurance.
