Pharmacy Manager

JOB TITLE: Pharmacy Manager – Independent Community Pharmacy LOCATION: Rumson, NJ JOB TYPE: Full-Time SALARY: $130,000 – $160,000 annually JOB DESCRIPTION Are you a pharmacist who got into this field to actually know your patients — not just fill their prescriptions? Rumson Pharmacy is a trusted independent community pharmacy in Rumson, NJ, and we're looking for a Pharmacy Manager who believes great care starts with real relationships. This isn't a chain pharmacy. There are no corporate quotas, no drive-through assembly lines, and no pressure to rush through consultations. We're a close-knit team that takes pride in knowing our patients by name — and we want a manager who feels the same way. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including prescription filling and dispensing Provide personalized patient counseling and medication therapy management Administer immunizations and oversee compounding services Process and resolve insurance claims on behalf of patients Coach and develop pharmacy staff Maintain inventory, merchandising, and a welcoming pharmacy environment Required Qualifications PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Active immunization certification Strong clinical pharmacy skills Excellent patient counseling and communication abilities Working knowledge of insurance claims and benefit structures Preferred Qualifications Experience in an independent or community pharmacy setting Background in claims resolution or prior authorizations Merchandising or inventory management experience What We Offer Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 based on experience Health and dental insurance Flexible scheduling Paid sick leave and holiday pay A supportive, team-oriented work environment where your expertise is genuinely valued Who We Are Rumson Pharmacy has served the Rumson, NJ community as a neighborhood pharmacy built on trust, personal care, and clinical excellence.
