MRI Technologist - PRN Evening & Weekend Availability Required - Baylor Scott & White Health | Round Rock Medical Center Location: Round Rock, TX Facility: Baylor Scott & White Health - Round Rock Medical Center Schedule: PRN | Evenings, Weekends, and Flexible Shifts Required Position Overview Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Round Rock Medical Center. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends, supporting a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an MRI technologist looking to grow within a leading healthcare system while working with advanced imaging technology and a collaborative care team. Our Core Values * We serve faithfully * We never settle * We are in it together * We make an impact What You'll Do * Perform high-quality MRI procedures according to physician orders and established imaging protocols. * Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, and exam efficiency. * Utilize AIDET communication to provide exceptional patient experiences. * Prepare patients and equipment while maintaining safety and comfort. * Follow strict MRI safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards. * Maintain imaging equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness expectations. * Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance. * Verify patient history, requisitions, pregnancy screening, and exam documentation. * Maintain accurate imaging records in PACS and EMR systems. * Assist with inventory management and departmental workflow. Qualifications Education * Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Program Experience * Minimum 1 year of MRI or relevant imaging experience required * Hospital experience preferred Certifications & Licensure * ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R) required * Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
