HWI has a great temporary opportunity to join our Talent Team in a Recruiter role. We are seeking a Recruiter who has strong background in utilizing sourcing methods and delivering results. This position is hybrid. Unfortunately, there this is not a benefits eligible role.SummaryThe Recruiter develops recruiting and sourcing strategies to support the talent needs of the organization. This role is responsible for ownership of the entire recruiting function of the organization and continually finds opportunities for improvements. The Recruiter partners with hiring managers and key business leaders to ensure timely understanding of HarbisonWalker Internationals current and future talent needs and related recruiting demands.ResponsibilitiesSourcing candidates through media, technological and social solutions that support our talent acquisition strategyUpholding metrics that evaluate all talent acquisition programs and initiatives across the organization; driving results, ensuring that staffing activity is meeting/exceeding client requirementsConducting employment screening interviews for internal and external applicants, of all levels and types of positions, including management; realistically describe to applicants the responsibilities of any appropriate positionBuilding and maintaining relationships with industry contacts to gain knowledge and generate referrals and fill positions; overseeing compliance to all regulations that impact the hiring and selection processMaintaining confidentiality of all information received within the guidelines of professional recruitment in compliance with federal, state, and local lawsBuilding and providing oversight to an employee referral program; developing ways to engage employees to be our employment brand ambassadorsRequirementsBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related fieldMBA preferredKnowledge of Federal, State and Provincial laws regarding HR issues and employmentKnowledge of employment, staffing and selection practicesExpertise and experience leveraging social media - idea/insight into attracting/retaining candidatesExperience working in a rapidly changing, complex environmentSkill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal customers and Senior Management Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of personnel within the organization, including presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the publicAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization and to facilitate group discussions and serve as project lead as appropriateAbility to plan own work, pay close attention to detail and handle multiple prioritiesAbility to effectively market and promote the company in communities servedProficient in Microsoft products including Excel, Word and PowerPointOracle Cloud (or other HRIS system) knowledgeLean and/or Six Sigma experience is a plusThe Recruiter requires two (2) - four (4) years of progressive recruiting experience both hourly and salaried roles (previous experience in agency preferred) along with the ability to develop external resource relationships and creative sourcing channels that drive high volume/high quality applicant flow, a proven track record in filling roles that span the organization with deadlines and goals and experience using talent metrics for continuous improvement.Physical and Environmental RequirementsPhysical Activity: Requires more than 2/3 of time sitting, using hands and fingers, speaking/hearing; 1/3 to 2/3 of time reaching; and less than 1/3 of time standing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, walking, and/or climbing/balancing.Lifting: Requires lifting up to 10 pounds more than 2/3 of time and up to 25 pounds less than 1/3 of time.Vision: Requires accurate close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.Environment: Requires more than 2/3 of time in an office setting.Noise: Requires exposure to moderate noise.
