Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a day-shift surgical services position requiring BLS and CST certifications, with experience across a broad patient population including pediatric through geriatric cases.Job Details• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM),• Performs surgical scrub duties for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patient populations, including trauma cases,• Responsibilities include picking cases, cleaning instruments and OR rooms, and monitoring and stocking OR inventory,• Every other weekend coverage is required,• Call is required,• Scrubs are provided,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience required,• CST certification required,• BLS certification required,• Valid California license required if applicable,• Ability to provide age-appropriate care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations,Additional Information• Assists in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients according to hospital standards and policies,• Provides patient care with consideration of developmental, psychosocial, safety, and communication needs across all age groups,• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate,• Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract,• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years are required for consideration,• Copies of all certifications are required for consideration
