MPG Track Office Safety Coordinator

Track Office Safety Coordinator Location: Romeo, MI| 48065 Duration: 3+ Months contract with possibility of extension and FTE Shift: 7pm-7am, 12 hours days - 3-4 days a week. Rotating hours, so they work every other weekend. Job Description We are looking for an experienced Track Office Safety Coordinator to join our team. Job duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring the track safety testing surfaces. monitoring the radio communications of the testing surfaces. enter the data into the Visitor Log and Track Log system. Coordinate with the different departments to ensure testing surfaces are utilized to the upmost. manage the communication signs and Safety Beacon lights. Drive on the test surfaces to ensure they are safe for testing. Open and close road surfaces as needed. Act as the Incident Commander if there is a vehicle problem and assist with the responding to emergencies. We have an opening on the night shift at our facility in Romeo, MI. Long term for the right person. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and an excellent driving record Possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures Attention to detail Self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn Reliable attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends Good computer skills with working knowledge of Excel and Word
