Security Officer Float

We are looking for a candidate to fill our Security Officer float position at Rome Health Rome Health is looking an individual to fill a Security Officer Float position for our main campus. The hours will 8-4, Monday - Friday,  but there needs to be flexibility to cover for vacations and call ins. Job Responsibilities: Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment Controls traffic by directing driversResponds to codes within the hospital. Codes range from fire, security assistance and possible active shooterEnsures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirementsCompletes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activitiesInvestigates security breaches, incidents and other alarming behavior Qualifications :Must have a guard card certification. Must be able to stand for up to 4 hoursMust be able to lift up to 15 poundsBasic computer skillsHourly rate : $20.00 to $21.50 depending on experience About Rome HealthRome Health is a non-profit health care system based in Rome, N.Y., providing services to patients throughout Central New York.
