This role serves as a subject matter expert in acoustics, applying advanced engineering principles to reduce noise, enhance sound quality, and improve overall system performance. The engineer partners closely with cross-functional teams-including product design, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and manufacturing-to develop innovative acoustic solutions from concept through production. The Senior Mechanical Engineer also conducts detailed modeling, simulation, and testing, and provides strategic technical guidance to support new product development, design validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Design and test acoustic solution for Collaboration devices used in conference roomsSpeaker enclosure designMicrophone acoustic design incorporated into productsWork in collaboration with ME, HW, Algorithm, DSP, Product management teams to achieve optimized solutionBuild prototypes to evaluate performance and testingDevelop Mechanical Design solution using CAD and other analytical toolsMechanical Design, Verify and Validate for high quality audio products for mass production.Perform tolerance analysis to ensure proper fit and functionMinimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering / Acoustic Engineering requiredMinimum 4 to 5 years of working experience focused in acoustic engineeringCAD experience required.
