Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

In this role, you'll handle diverse urgent cases, perform minor procedures, and make a meaningful impact within our community-centric environment. Required Skills: Minimum of 12 months recent clinical experience in urgent or emergency care settings Proficiency with Epic EMR system and ability to see and treat all patients independently Board certification (PA Cert, Family NP Cert, or equivalent), BLS, and DEA license Strong soft skills to effectively communicate with support staff and patients Ability to handle a high patient volume efficiently Must be able to participate fully in onboarding, including EMR training and clinical screening Must reside within a 60-mile radius of multiple supported locations Nice to Have Skills: Experience performing procedures such as I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and minor procedures Previous experience working in a fast-paced urgent care or emergency department Additional certifications in pediatric or family care Preferred Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program Board-certified in respective specialty At least one year of relevant clinical experience in urgent or emergency care Other Requirements: Must provide credentialing documentation and pass clinical screening Availability to participate in mandatory EMR training on scheduled Wednesdays Willingness to support multiple locations within a 60-mile radius No travel or overnight lodging reimbursements; mileage reimbursement available Supporting staff includes Center Managers, Medical Assistants, Patient Support Associates, and supervising physicians offsite This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team that values your skills and dedication.
