Tunista Operations Support Services LLCRegularPrimary FunctionThe Logistics & Compliance Coordinator supports warehouse logistics operations while ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance across supply chain activities at Rock Island Arsenal. This position provides oversight of inventory accountability, warehouse compliance practices, and environmental program integration in accordance with DoD, federal, and contract requirements.The role bridges logistics operations and environmental compliance by supporting property accountability, audit readiness, and environmental stewardship initiatives. This position will operate under the guidance of the Logistics & Supply Manager and Safety/Environmental leadership, while exercising independent judgment in coordinating compliance-related activities.Essential DutiesOversee and maintain accurate inventory control, accountability, and reporting within warehouse operationsCoordinate logistics activities including receiving, storage, distribution, and shipment tracking]Ensure compliance with DoD property management regulations, environmental policies, and contract requirementsMonitor and enforce environmental compliance within warehouse operations, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of materialsAssist in development, implementation, and enforcement of warehouse SOPs and compliance proceduresConduct internal inspections, audits, and inventory reconciliations; identify discrepancies and implement corrective actionsAnalyze logistics and compliance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvementSupport Government audits, inspections, and data calls related to logistics and environmental programsMaintain documentation and reporting for regulatory compliance, including hazardous material tracking and environmental recordsCoordinate with Safety/Environmental team to ensure alignment with environmental compliance programsServe in a developmental role as backup to Playground Inspector upon successful completion of required testing and certificationsAssist with training personnel on compliance procedures, inventory systems, and environmental requirementsSupport ERP/IMS systems (SAP, DPAS, GOLDesp) including reporting, data accuracy, and system complianceProvide recommendations to improve warehouse efficiency, compliance posture, and operational effectivenessEnsure adherence to all safety, quality assurance, and environmental policiesPerform other duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNo direct supervisory responsibility; however, may provide functional guidance, training, and compliance oversight to warehouse personnel, as well as support team adherence to safety and environmental policies and procedures.Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management systemsWorking knowledge of environmental compliance regulations and hazardous material handlingAbility to analyze data and provide actionable recommendationsKnowledge of DoD property accountability and supply chain processes preferredFamiliarity with ERP/IMS systems such as LimbleStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to interpret policies, regulations, and contract requirementsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally between logistics and environmental teamsStrong attention to detail and compliance-driven mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or related fieldExperience with inventory management systems and property accountabilityExperience with or exposure to environmental compliance or hazardous materials handling preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD NACI and/or security clearance as requiredMust be able to pass drug screeningValid driver's licenseWorking EnvironmentA fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance.
