This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about talent acquisition and eager to build a career in contract staffing, specifically within the Engineering and Defense/Cleared hiring space. You will work closely with Senior Recruiters and Account Managers to source, screen, and place qualified candidates for active client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle Recruiting Support "” Assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for engineering and cleared contract positions across client accountsCandidate Sourcing "” Utilize job boards (Indeed, Dice, LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs), ATS tools, and networking to identify qualified candidatesPipeline Management "” Maintain and update candidate records in the ATS (experience with Ceipal is a plus); track submission and interview status consistentlyScreening & Qualification "” Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates on technical background, work authorization, compensation expectations, and security clearance eligibility (Secret, TS, TS/SCI)Clearance Awareness "” Understand the basics of US security clearances (types, sponsorship limitations, adjudication timelines) to qualify candidates accurately for cleared rolesJob Order Management "” Review and understand client job requirements, particularly for engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Civil, Systems, etc.)Candidate Engagement "” Build relationships with passive and active candidates; maintain regular follow-up to ensure strong placement ratiosCompliance "” Ensure all recruiting activities are compliant with OFCCP, EEO, and ITAR guidelines, particularly for defense and government contractor rolesCollaboration "” Work closely with Account Managers and Senior Recruiters to align candidate pipelines with client delivery expectationsReporting "” Participate in weekly performance reviews; track personal KPIs including submittals, interviews, and placementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field "” OR equivalent work experience0-2 years of recruiting, HR, or staffing industry experience (internships and co-ops count)Basic understanding of contract/W2/C2C staffing models and US work authorizations.Familiarity with engineering roles and/or defense/government cleared hiring "” either through coursework, internship, or personal interestStrong communication skills "” written and verbalProficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneouslySelf-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to grow within the staffing industryPreferred / Nice-to-Have QualificationsPrior experience or coursework related to Aerospace, Defense, or Engineering industriesExposure to security clearance requirements and the cleared talent marketplace (e.g., ClearanceJobs, IC community)Hands-on experience with an ATS platform (Ceipal, Bullhorn, or similar)Knowledge of ITAR compliance and export control regulations as they relate to hiringExperience with sourcing on Dice, LinkedIn Recruiter, or ClearanceJobsWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary + performance-based incentivesStructured onboarding and mentorship from senior recruiting leadershipHands-on training in contract staffing, engineering hiring, and cleared talent acquisitionClear growth path into Senior Recruiter, Account Manager, or Team Lead rolesCollaborative, fast-paced team environment with national client exposure
