Machine Operator

Masis Professional Group is recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our client. This is a 1st shift opportunity offering a competitive payrate and benefits.Specific Accountabilities of the Machine Operator:Production / Operations:Apply metal to customer orders based on work order specificationsSet up, operate, and maintain cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipmentPull, inspect, and verify materials prior to processingProperly set up equipment according to set-up notes and work instructionsProcess materials to exact specifications and perform in-process quality checksRecord measurements and follow sampling plansComplete production logs and reconcile production dataCommunicate with internal teams regarding order changes or clarificationsAssist with packaging and labeling per work instructionsQuality & Compliance:Verify product meets all work order and specification requirementsIdentify, record, and segregate scrap or non-conforming materialPerform routine quality checks during machine operationMaintain and properly use measurement equipmentAccurately enter and manage material identification tagsEquipment & Maintenance:Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipmentMaintain cranes, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment in safe working conditionOperate weighing scales and record inspection dataPerform general clean-up and maintain an organized work areaTeam & Continuous Improvement:Balance workload and assist team members as neededProvide feedback on machine efficiency and product qualityRecommend process improvements within the manufacturing areaTrain other employees as requiredSupport lean manufacturing and quality initiativesSafety:Perform all duties in a safe manner and follow all safety protocolsMaintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environmentWork directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machineryIf interested, please submit your resume to be considered for this position.
