Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - SE MinnesotaSchedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed (more frequent in spring/summer months)This is a salaried role; however, Supervisors are eligible for 1.4x salaried overtime for Saturday shifts (no comp days, unlike managers).This position oversees the Grinding department with 50 direct reports, and manages two strong Leads who support daily operations and help coordinate rotations alongside the Production Manager (to whom this role reports).Key Callouts:Proven ability to lead large, frontline teams (40-60+ employees) in a production environmentStrong hands-on leadership style; comfortable spending the majority of time on the production floorExperience managing a diverse workforce, including varying backgrounds, communication styles, and levels of experienceDemonstrated ability to drive productivity, meet production targets, and manage throughput in a fast-paced environmentExperience managing performance, holding employees accountable, and addressing attendance and behavior issuesAbility to balance production demands with safety and quality standardsExperience working in food manufacturing or other regulated production environments strongly preferred (USDA/SQF a plus, not required)Comfortable working in cold/raw production environments and physically active rolesTargeted Comp:$65,000 - $80,000 base salary + target annual bonus based on performanceEligible for 1.4x salaried overtime for Saturday shifts (no comp days)Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offFor more information about this career opportunity, contact Brad Trahan, Professional Search Recruiter, Express Employment Professionals, brad.trahan@ or direct office 507-280-2617
