Travel CT Tech in Ripley, WV

A travel opportunity is available for a skilled CT Imaging Technologist in Ripley, WV. This role involves working in a radiology department equipped with one Cannon CT scanner and two GE X-ray rooms, performing 10-20 CT scans and approximately 100 X-ray exams daily. The position requires flexibility, as there may be occasional float shifts to the Operating Room. Key Responsibilities: Perform all routine X-rays and CT exams, including CT Angiographies (CTAs) Maintain and stock imaging rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and FUJI for PACS imaging software Possibly assist with starting IVs for outpatient procedures, with nursing support available if needed Adhere to onsite department orientation and facility protocols Qualifications and Requirements: ARRT (R) certification required BLS certification required Experience with routine X-ray and CT imaging Must be trained in CT imaging; CT registration not mandatory Ability to work 12-hour shifts, primarily afternoons and midnights (typical schedules: 7 a.m.-7 p.m., 9 a.m.-9 p.m., with possible overnight coverage) Radiation badge provided by staffing agency (facility does not provide) Unexpired driver's license required with application Shift Details: Schedule involves three 12-hour shifts; coverage may include standby with a one-hour response time Weekend work is possible Scrubs of any color are acceptable and provided onsite About Ripley, WV: Ripley offers a welcoming community with a blend of small-town charm and access to outdoor recreational activities.
