Tues-Sat or Sun-ThursLocation: Avamere at Rio Rancho - 1000 Riverview Drive SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124Apply now at: Arete.JobsAvamere at Rio Rancho is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medication Technician to support our Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living residents by safely administering medications and providing high-quality resident care.Responsibilities:Care for residents and assist in updating each resident's service planAdminister medications ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the DHS and according to current policies, procedures, and practicesProvide care for residents and assist with updating service plans.Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and provide first aid assistanceAssist with daily living activities (i.e., bathing, dressing, and eating)Provide support with residents to caregivers as neededDocument and communicate resident changes and complete all reports in a timely mannerMaintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldActive NM HCA or CNA license Active Certified Med Tech certificationHigh-School diploma or equivalentFirst Aid & CPR CertificationMinimum of one-year of experience in a healthcare settingMust obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employmentKnowledge and experience caring for and interacting with eldersBenefits:We believe caring for others starts with caring for our own teams.
