Here is more information Setting: A large, modern, acute care hospital Key Responsibilities: Process and prepare tissue specimens using histology techniques (grossing, embedding, microtomy, staining) Perform routine and special stains according to established protocols Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and documentation of specimens Maintain quality control and adhere to laboratory safety standards Collaborate with pathologists and lab team members to support diagnostic needs Qualifications: Diploma or degree in histotechnology, clinical laboratory science, or related field Certification as HT or HTL preferred (or actively working toward certification) Previous histology experience in a clinical setting strongly preferred Knowledge of histologic procedures, equipment, and best practices Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively What We Offer: Competitive compensation and benefits package Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth and development A vital role in delivering high-quality patient care
