Shift(s): Full Time. 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday, with occasional nights and weekends. CDL strongly preferred MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: * Interview, hire, supervise, coach, evaluate, discipline, schedule and assist employees in setting and meeting performance goals. Develop and monitor performance and responsibilities of assigned staff * Drive resident, staff and visitors in company vehicles to assigned locations as needed in a safe manner following all company safety rules and state driving laws * Coordinate, schedule and confirm transportation appointments for individuals and events * Ensure proper maintenance, inspection and registration of all company vehicles to insure they are safe and in proper driving condition * Maintain statistical records for maintenance and expenses of Westminster Canterbury vehicles * Interface with departments around Westminster Canterbury in regard to transportation services * Prepare and monitor transportation invoicing in a timely manner * Additional duties as assigned EQUIPMENT: * Vehicles * Computer, including Microsoft Office * Telephone, cellular phone and two-way radio PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to sit, reach, stand, bend, walk for periods of time depending on daily responsibilities * Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds * Ability to lift 41+ pounds with mechanical assistance * Ability to maneuver in tight places REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY: * Meet regulatory and organization's employment standards established for driving records * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills * Ability to collaborate with team members and other departments * Ability to multitask in a fast paced dynamic environment * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Ability to demonstrate the organization's vision, mission and values DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY: * Familiarity with Richmond and surrounding areas * Knowledge of assistive devices (i.e. wheelchairs and walkers) REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * High School Diploma or equivalency and 2 years of customer service experience * Valid Driver's License in the State of Virginia with a minimum age 21 to drive for the organization * Related experience in Transportation DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Valid Commercial Driver's License in the State of Virginia with minimum age 25 to drive groups * Experience in health care related transportation * Experience working with seniors * Experience working in a CCRC * Supervisory experience REQUIRED BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES: * High standard of integrity by displaying actions consistent with statements.
