Title: Aviation Student Worker- Dispatch Position Type: Student Search Type: External - minimum 7 days Department: 25R000 - Justice, Safety & Military Science Division: 2R0000 - Academic Affairs Position Location: Richmond Campus Driver Classification: Non-Driver FLSA: Non-Exempt Schedule Type: Part Time, No Benefits (less than 20 hrs per week) Hours Per Week: 20 Posted Salary Grade: $9.25 per hour Contact Person: Shauna Smith Job Summary/Basic Functions A successful applicant will assist with daily requirements of the Aviation Program within the flight line. Duties will include assisting the flight line dispatch supervisor in every day operations. Duties for Dispatch are assigned daily by the Supervisor. Duties can include dispatching, cleaning, auditing dispatch tickets, washing aircraft, auditing aircraft or other duties as assigned. Availability schedule Minimum Qualifications * Must be enrolled at EKU Preferred Qualifications: * Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Be able to pick up on tasks rather quickly * Must have a flight schedule pro account * Student must have passed flight lab 161A before applying to work in dispatch.
