Working here means variety - different environments, different challenges, different tech stacks. You won't get bored. The Role: We need a network engineer who can hit the ground running. You'll remotely manage network infrastructure for multiple MSP clients - this isn't helpdesk work; you'll own solutions and solve problems. What You'll Actually Do: Configure and troubleshoot managed switches (VLANs, routing, STP, LACP) Deploy and manage firewalls (ideally Fortinet), VPNs, and security policies Diagnose connectivity issues across multi-site networks Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Perform Windows Server migrations (2016/2019/2022) and provisioning Execute M365 migrations (tenant-to-tenant, hybrid Exchange) Configure wireless networks (controller-based and cloud-managed) Use backup solutions (Datto, Veeam) for DR scenarios Work with Hyper-V or VMware in production Compensation: Medical/Dental/Vision 401(k) with a% match HSA with company match PTO from day one + sick time 7 paid holidays Training and certification support Fully remote no need to fight against traffic Requirements RequirementsRequired Experience: Physically terminated cables, configured switches in production (not just labs) Deployed enterprise firewalls and site-to-site/client VPNs Managed Windows Server and Active Directory environments M365 administration: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, security configurations Completed at least one migration (on-prem to cloud, P2V, or tenant-to-tenant) Troubleshoot independently - you know when to escalate vs. when to dig deeper Key Technical Skills: Active Directory | DNS | DHCP | VLANs | Routing | Firewalls | VPN | Managed Switches | M365 | Exchange Online | Windows Server | Hyper-V | VMware | Wireless Access Points | Network Security | Veeam | Datto | RMM Tools | Group Policy | TCP/IP | Network Troubleshooting Preferred: Certifications: Network+, CCNA, MCSA, Microsoft 365, Fortinet NSE Experience with N-Able, N-Central, or similar RMM platforms MSP experience
