We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Check out our many videos to learn more! of the Senior Pump Mechanic/Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, paint, package/prepare for shipment API centrifugal pumps as well as other related rotating equipmentAssist with training and developing Pump Mechanic personnel to ensure efficient use of manpower and compliance with customer requirementsMonitor progress of repairs and assign and guide shop personnel to complete those repairsServe as one of the most experienced tradesman in the shopSet the positive leadership tone and behaviorInteract with customers in a positive way showing them how DXP cares about their businessAssist the Supervisor in the execution of all workQualifications of the Senior Pump Mechanic/Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:1+ years of experience working in a pump repair shop facility with previous experience repairing API centrifugal pumps and other related rotating equipment preparedExperience repairing API/Engineered pumps, creating details, and making technical decisionsIn-depth understanding of API 610, and other applicable standardsAbility to read pump sectional, machine drawings, and OEM pump manualsDisassembly, inspection, ability to write up a detailed rotating equipment report to all necessary repairs and or replacement parts needed, Ex: assembly prep, assembly, pneumatic pressure testing of assembled equipment, painting of finished repair and final inspectionSafely use hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic toolsExperience with pneumatic and hydrostatic testing of parts and equipmentAbility to read and understand mechanical seal drawings, mechanical seal removal, installation, and pneumatic pressure testing preferredAbility to work with multiple and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.Ability to achieve results with minimal supervisionBackground check, physical, and drug test requiredAdditional Information:Pay: $30.00hr - $55.00hr, DOEPhysical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Working Conditions: Must be able to work in a shop environment without AC and heat, with possible exposure to dirt, heat, and noise.Training/Certifications: N/AShift Time/Overtime: Day shift and regular overtimeTravel: N/AEducation: High School Diploma or GEDLocation: USA:CA: RichmondDXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
