Position Summary The Field Account Manager (FAM) is responsible for leading and managing all site administrative functions to ensure compliant, efficient, accurate, and reliable administrative operations. This role serves as the primary administrative leader at the site level and acts as a key liaison between site leadership, field employees, corporate support teams, and other internal stakeholders. The FAM is responsible for supervising administrative staff, managing daily workflows, enforcing administrative procedures and controls, maintaining confidential records, and supporting site readiness for outages, projects, audits, and operational needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support site administrative staff, including assigning work, monitoring performance, providing guidance, and ensuring daily administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely. Manage daily administrative workflows related to site operations, employee support, documentation, reporting, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll coordination, compliance tracking, and other business needs. Establish, implement, and enforce administrative procedures, internal controls, and standardized processes to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency. Serve as the primary liaison between site leadership and corporate support teams, including Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Safety, Compliance, Procurement, and other departments as needed. Ensure administrative readiness for outages, turnarounds, projects, and other major site activities, including staffing support, documentation, reporting, and communication coordination. Maintain accurate and organized records in accordance with company policies, contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and confidentiality expectations. Monitor administrative processes for compliance with company procedures, labor agreements, client requirements, and applicable regulations. Support site leadership with reports, data entry, workforce information, employee records, project documentation, and administrative analysis. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen site administrative operations. Promote a professional, service-oriented, and accountable administrative environment. Ensure sensitive employee, client, financial, and operational information is handled with discretion and confidentiality. Assist with audits, investigations, compliance reviews, and internal reporting as requested. Partner with site leadership to ensure administrative activities align with operational priorities, project schedules, and company expectations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position may supervise site administrative employees, clerical support staff, or other assigned personnel. Responsibilities may include training, assigning work, reviewing performance, coaching employees, resolving administrative issues, and ensuring departmental accountability. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related field preferred. Prior leadership, supervisory, or administrative management experience required. Experience in field operations, construction, industrial services, utilities, power generation, manufacturing, or a similar site-based environment preferred. Experience supporting payroll, timekeeping, onboarding, compliance documentation, or project administration preferred. Familiarity with union environments, labor agreements, or regulated work sites is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to establish, follow, and improve administrative processes and procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Working knowledge of administrative controls, records management, and compliance expectations. Ability to communicate effectively with site leadership, field employees, corporate departments, clients, and external stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve administrative issues professionally. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business systems. Ability to work independently while supporting broader operational goals. Regulatory awareness and understanding of the importance of compliance in site operations. Working Conditions This position primarily works in a site office environment but may require occasional interaction in field or operational areas. The role may require extended hours during outages, projects, audits, or periods of increased operational activity. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, use a computer, and communicate for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift or carry office materials, files, or supplies. Ability to access various areas of the site as needed, in accordance with safety requirements.
