Job Description:
HGA is seeking an Asset Integrity Manager to support operations in Riceboro, Georgia. The Asset Integrity Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the Mechanical Integrity (MI) program strategy and driving all related initiatives. This role will have corporate-wide responsibility for MI programs regulated under the OSHA PSM and EPA RMP programs for operations in the United States. The position requires strategic thinking, exceptional technical knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop, lead, and manage a plan for continuous improvement of the MI program. The Sr. Mechanical Integrity Engineer is responsible for all operating units of SNF Holding Company and reports to the SNF Senior Environmental and PSM Manager. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, maintain, and lead company-wide Mechanical Integrity (MI) programs. Provide technical expertise for and improve the MI programs for plants throughout the United States. Promote standardization of MI procedures and policies across all United States locations to achieve consistent results, performance, reliability, and compliance with applicable PSM and RMP regulations and ensure appropriate application and interpretation of standards and codes, including RAGAGEP. Work with plant maintenance and engineering groups to manage MI programs related to equipment and instrumentation inspection and maintenance activities, including development of procedures and tracking of inspection and maintenance data. Work with engineering groups to manage MI programs related to developing equipment specifications, preparing relief system designs, and implementing QA/QC inspection of new facilities, equipment, and spare parts. Develop, track, and manage key MI program performance metrics. Conduct gap analysis and audits of MI programs and apply appropriate resources to mitigate failures. Support site personnel during PSM and RMP regulatory compliance audits conducted by internal groups and external agencies. Report on MI activities and initiatives to senior management Requirements: A B.S. Degree in Engineering. A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical integrity and related work. Experience in developing MI programs for chemical manufacturing facilities. Knowledge in application and compliance requirements of regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and industry standards and recommended practices (API, ASME, etc.). Strong orientation to teamwork and the ability to support the operations group and gain their cooperation and respect. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Experience in dealing with senior-level management. Confident, bright, articulate, innovative, highly motivated, and a self-starter with a high energy level, a spirit of team effort and cooperation, and of the highest integrity. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Note: if you are located in Marietta, GA, travel costs may be higher. Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
