This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all custodial work. The Sr. CSA takes full ownership of their responsibilities from initiation through completion.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service & OperationsOwn end-to-end account onboarding, including preparation of Advisory Agreements and custodial account agreementsManage custodial inquiries and account maintenance through resolution, including complex or escalated matters, retirement coding reconciliations, and general account maintenanceHandle all asset movement requests with clients and at the custodial level from initiation to completion, including checks, wires, ACH, journalsProcess retirement account rollovers, reconciliation of transferred assets, and annuity rollovers through completionFacilitate Separately Managed Accounts and subdocument processing, including client profile sheets and private investment subscription documentsCoordinate offboarding client notifications and manage returned mail/abandoned property accountsProvide proactive communication with clients and advisor teams throughout all account-related matters, including sensitive or complex client situationsAssure accuracy and timeliness of all custodian workTechnical ExpertiseDevelop and maintain deep technical expertise in operational mattersStay current with custodial bulletins and proceduresUnderstand and comply with all financial regulationsMaintain high diligence in client privacy and securityDemonstrate expertise in the systems used by the company, such as CRM, custodian websites, and other relevant technological resourcesMaintain required logs and supporting documentation for compliance-related purposesTeam CollaborationParticipate in client meetings within areas of expertiseProvide training and mentorship to new Client Service Associates and Advisor AssociatesProvide support to Advisor Associates, Lead Advisors, and Service AdvisorsContribute to process improvement initiativesProactively document, develop and improve standard templates, policies, procedures, and materialsProvide input on and encourage adoption of new technology solutionsContribute positively to office culture, morale, and team collaborationEscalate issues and requests to appropriate personnel when necessaryRequired CompetenciesClient Service ExcellenceStrong client orientation with focus on creating memorable, impactful experiencesHigh level of professionalism and strong communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to resolve issues professionally and effectivelyInterpersonal savvy and relationship development skillsOperational ExcellenceExceptional organizational, planning, and prioritization skillsHigh standards and a sense of urgency in delivering quality workAbility to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlinesStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesAdvanced technical expertise in relevant systems and custodian platformsProfessional DevelopmentAbility to learn quickly when facing new challengesOpenness to change and continuous improvementTechnology orientation and commitment to incorporating best practicesMentorship and training skills to develop team membersQualificationsBachelor's degree, or related experience preferably in finance, economics, or related field2-5 years of experience in financial services or related fieldStrong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with CRM systems and custodial platforms requiredExcellent organizational and time management skillsCommitment to professional growth and developmentThis position offers growth opportunities through increasing complexity in operational expertise and plays a vital role in delivering exceptional client service through specializedWhat We OfferWealthspire Advisors is proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and more. The base salary range for this position is $70,000 -$80,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
