Receiving Specialist

DescriptionJob Overview:The Receiving Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory control in store receiving area, works with delivery personnel, and counts and checks in merchandise.Reports to:Store Manager Responsibilities Include:Records incoming deliveries in system by Purchase Order using RF deviceLoad Receiving and Reconciliation of InvoiceBreakage adjustments and supporting documents to corporateCycle counting Negative inventory review and submittalProcessing of Transfers Incoming / OutgoingMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent required.1-2 years inventory experience preferredStrong analytical skills and excellent at problem solvingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent oral and written communication skillsOrganized and detail orientatedEnjoy working in a fast paced environmentAbility to multitask and work well while meeting deadlinesSoftware experience preferredDemonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft applications, intermediate excel skills preferred.Attention to detail and follow through on all action itemsMust be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.Disclaimer:This job posting is intended to describe the general nature of this position.
