Optim Medical Center - Tattnall is seeking PRN Respiratory Therapist for Reidsville, GA location. Job Requirements: Primary Duties: Respiratory job duties:- Maintain knowledge of the various oxygen delivery methods and assessment of patient for appropriate therapy needed.- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, purpose and side effects associated with each- Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators, airway management, suctioning, and any other procedure related to ventilator therapy.- Perform arterial punctures for ABG and technique for analysis along with understanding the complications and contraindications associated with the procedure.- Performs EKGs, report to appropriate department, and recognize critical that may need immediate treatment.- Demonstrate ability to assess patients of various ages and determine the appropriate therapy needed.- Demonstrate knowledge of respiratory medications and oxygen concentrations as they relate to the treatment of varying age patients.- Manage and operate all equipment necessary for proper patient care.- Assess patients and be an active participant along with doctors and nurses in the appropriate care of the patients.Regulatory Requirements:Current state Respiratory Therapist Licensure.Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
