Job Full Description Job Title: Dispensing Technician Location: Radford, VA Job Type: Full-Time Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; occasional overtime may be required Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician. In this role, you will prepare machines according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), follow Master Batch Records, and contribute to the daily production schedule. The Production Technician will be cross-trained in multiple areas and will report directly to the Production Lab Supervisor. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and operate lab machines according to SOPs Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Review the production schedule to determine daily work goals Clean and maintain lab equipment using designated disinfectants Assist in dispensing and labeling liquid components Set up stations with correct bottles, caps, tips, and other materials Rack bottles and ensure proper handling Accurately sign and follow Master Batch Records Tools and Equipment Used: Microsoft Office Suite Work Environment: Work is performed in a lab room Protective items such as gloves and eye drops will be provided as needed Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Why Join this Company: (Benefits offered after evaluation hours are completed) Opportunity to gain cross-training in multiple lab areas Dress Code: Smart casual, you can wear jeans, but not the ones with holes 88 hours PTO offered every 6 months (prorated based on hire date); allotted January and July 1 week shut down at Christmas (extra week vacation) 12 hours of doctor time annually (prorated based on hire date) Company pays STD, LTD and Life Insurance 3 different Anthem health benefits options including HSA plan at no cost to the employee Dental Vision 401(k) and up to 4% matching eligible after 90 days And of course other perks - working in State of Art facilities, low turnover for FT employees.
