The position primarily focuses on outpatient care but involves assisting with evaluations and visits for PTA in the inpatient setting, providing diverse clinical experience. Overview:As a Physical Therapist in our inpatient rehab department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to our diverse patient population. You will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence. This role offers stability with no weekends or call required and provides exposure to both outpatient and inpatient therapy, enriching your professional skills. Required Skills: Valid Mississippi State License in Physical TherapyBasic Life Support (BLS) CertificationAt least 1 year of recent outpatient/rehabilitation experienceProficiency with Epic electronic health record systemStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamNice to Have Skills: Experience with swingbed or dual-certified acute care facilitiesPrior experience in critical access hospital settingsAdditional certifications in specialized therapy areasPreferred Education and Experience: Bachelor s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited programPrevious experience in inpatient and outpatient rehab environmentsOther Requirements: Willingness to participate in emergency team responses if needed, with specific pay impacts communicated during eventsAbility to adapt to shift schedules, primarily day shifts (08 30, 5 days a week)Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications according to state and federal guidelinesMust be comfortable reporting as assigned during emergency eventsThis is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive setting while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
