Job Description:
Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the performance, reliability, and continuous operation of CNC and production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting complex equipment issues, performing repairs, and driving corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.The ideal candidate has a strong background in CNC machinery, electrical and mechanical systems, automation, and preventive maintenance, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across production and engineering teams.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide troubleshooting and repair support for CNC and production equipment as neededDiagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsTroubleshoot and repair issues involving:Mechanical alignmentElectrical hardwareCNC controls and softwarePeripheral devicesAutomation systemsPerform repairs and maintenance involving:Servo systemsPLCsHydraulicsPneumaticsInterpret mechanical, electrical, and assembly drawings to support repairs and installationsMaintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and technical reports as requiredAdhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practicesSupport continuous improvement initiatives and proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performancePerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate's Degree in Electronics or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 7 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance and industrial troubleshootingStrong experience with:CNC controlsServo systemsPLCsAutomation systemsMachine tool maintenanceSolid mechanical aptitude with knowledge of:Precision measurementMachine tool theoryHydraulics and pneumaticsExperience with FANUC and/or SIEMENS CNC controls preferredPrior technical writing or maintenance documentation experience preferredStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a manufacturing environment with minimal supervisionWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationStable manufacturing environment with advanced equipmentOpportunities for growth and technical developmentCollaborative team culture focused on safety and continuous improvementIf you are a hands-on maintenance professional with strong CNC troubleshooting experience and a passion for keeping equipment operating at peak performance, we encourage you to apply.
