RFP Analyst

RFP AnalystThe RFP Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, and assessing sourcing activities essential to support a food/beverage distributor. This position requires performing project management skills, cost benefit analyses, reviewing contracts, and evaluating pricing formulas to obtain the most advantageous pricing through the RFP process.This position will work from home one day a week after training.Job descriptionCollaborating and coordinating with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure complete and accurate RFPs are sent to vendorsAnalyzing item and category product costs, logistics costs, and other pricing components to perform comparative analysis of vendor proposalsSupporting negotiation of contract termsComparing procurement options and logistics strategies for RFPsProviding ad-hoc financial analysis on trends and insight on businessParticipating in monitoring of savings achieved due to the RFP processDemonstrating the ability to take real-world analytics/data science projects from start to finish- including data cleaning, descriptive analysis, predictive modeling, and visualizationsSkills Required1+ years of experience in Finance or Data AnalyticsA Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or equivalentHigh proficiency in Excel and PowerPointThe ability to handle complex projects and problemsHigh attention to detail and great organizational skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of SQL and PowerBIAbout Blue Signal:Blue Signal is an award-winning, executive search firm specializing in various specialties.
