This role is designed as a temporary, developmental position with the expectation of timely advancement into a Registered Radiologic Technologist role.Important Role ExpectationsThis position is temporary and intended to support caregivers completing clinical and registration requirementsThe caregiver is expected to advance to a Registered Radiologic Technologist position as soon as eligibleEmployees are not expected to remain in this role longer than six months after completion of clinical hoursPosition SummaryUnder the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist, the Limited Scope / Non‑Registered Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures within their scope of practice. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
