Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a Java FSD for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices while building robust APIs and managing SQLbased data operations. Rate Range: $37/hour to $43/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Java FSD job responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Build and enhance RESTful APIs while ensuring scalability, security, and high performance. Work with SQL Server/Oracle databases, writing efficient queries and optimizing data access logic. Contribute to frontend development and integration, ensuring seamless interaction between UI and backend services. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver highquality solutions. Support secondary tech stack components such as C#, .NET (WCF/WPF) when needed for integration or maintenance tasks. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. 8-10 years of handson experience in fullstack development with strong backend and microservices expertise. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and SQL (SQL Server/Oracle) with proven experience building enterprise applications.
