Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Job description: An established primary care practice in the Princeton, NJ area is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients, collaborating with a team of physicians/APPs, and contributing to the success and growth of the practice. Part time hours (20 hours/week), 2.5 day schedule. Key Responsibilities: Provide outpatient care and coverage in nearby nursing facility Tuesday 9am-5pm, Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-1pm Potential for one Saturday morning per month from 9am-12pm No pediatric care, 13+ Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, including medication management, patient education, and coordination of follow-up care Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care coordination and workflow efficiency.
