Team Lead

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions has partnered with a prominent client within the Automotive industry. We are currently hiring Team Leads (Quality Inspection) to join our team. We are hiring for 1st & 2 nd shift at our Princeton location. The Team Lead is essential for the smooth operation of daily activities. This proactive role involves leading and motivating team members, completing as well as overseeing inspection sorts, and assisting with project management and account development. The Team Lead also focuses on driving customer satisfaction through strong interpersonal skills to build positive client relationships. This dynamic position balances operational tasks with strategic initiatives, contributing to team success and organizational growth. Team Lead Job Summary: 1st shift - 5:30am- 3:15pm - $17.50 2nd shift- 6:30pm - 4:00am - $18.25 Be prepared to work OT as needed Available to work on Saturday as needed Potential room for growth and opportunity Team Lead Responsibilities: Develop and/or improve standardized work instructions to support both customer and supplier inspection and rework projects Understand and meet customer production, quality, and delivery time expectations Capability to evaluate all support staff for efficiency, accuracy, competence of duty, and make recommendations to management for worker retention and promotability Drive customer service through regular customer interaction Read, comprehend, and execute written work instructions Verify and correct project documentation Perform layered audits Assist with problem solving customer complaints using various problem-solving methods and root cause analysis Assist with inspector training Team Lead Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Previous quality inspection experience preferred Proven experience leading a team Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate weights of 10-50 pounds Strong hand/eye coordination with arm/hand/finger dexterity including the ability to grasp with visual acuity Corrected 20/20 vision with no color blindness Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to stand, walk, and manipulate weights of 10 to 50 pounds throughout the shift Why Peoplelink?
