This role manages projects from initial scope development and contract negotiation through installation, commissioning, and closeout. Theideal candidate has a strong background in industrial construction, equipment installation, and contractor management, preferably within an automotive or heavy manufacturing setting.Projects are typically executed during non-production hours and require hands-on coordination with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead industrial equipment installation and modification projects from concept through completionDevelop project scopes, create machine and installation specifications, and support equipment procurementManage general contractors and subcontractors, including contract negotiation and field change ordersCoordinate installation of robotics cells, jigs, conveyors, transfer systems, AGVs, overhead rail systems, and hoistsOversee facility systems installation including HVAC, exhaust systems, cooling water, lighting, sealer systems, and utility distributionAdminister construction contracts and perform onsite inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standardsManage project budgets, schedules, and reporting using MS Project and ExcelCoordinate cross-functional teams including machine vendors, inspection agencies, shipping providers, and internal engineering and management teamsMonitor and enforce jobsite safety compliance at all timesResolve unplanned issues efficiently while maintaining schedule and budget objectivesProvide regular project status updates to management, including safety, schedule, cost, and qualityComplete post-project reviews and lessons-learned documentationQualificationsTechnical school degree or equivalent hands-on industrial experienceStrong background in industrial construction and project managementExperience managing equipment installation in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of robotics, conveyors, transfer systems, HVAC, utilities, and material handling systemsExperience creating machine specifications and supporting equipment procurementAbility to manage multiple contractors and complex schedulesStrong problem-solving, time management, and technical communication skillsWillingness to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as required during non-production periodsPreferred QualificationsAutomotive manufacturing experienceElectrical or controls backgroundSafety management experience in industrial or construction environmentsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS ProjectAbility to review, manipulate, and print drawings using AutoCADDisclaimer:· Kyyba is an Equal Opportunity Employer.· Kyyba does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability, national origin, veteran status or any other basis covered by appropriate law.
