Supportive Care Sitter

Job Overview Seeking a sitter to work full"‘time or part"‘time hours, working with multiple families. We are an approved respite provider for children with special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. Pay range: $19 to $21 per hour + sibling care bonuses. Regional Center Special Programs: A supportive team environment with training and hands"‘on guidance. Legal employment with direct deposit pay. We look for: An engaging, creative, child"‘focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and do other activities in families' homes. Fully Vaccinated + Boosted for Covid"‘19. Childcare or nanny experience preferred. Special needs experience in any capacity is an absolute plus! Childcare references, which can come from paid or unpaid experience. Part"‘time schedules are 12"‘30 hours per week between 12pm"‘8pm. Full"‘time schedules are 30 to 40 hours per week also available with extra backup care shifts. Reliable and insured transportation is required to travel to various family homes. Cell phone with data to accept and record assignments. Working Conditions and Requirements The work environment will be active, kid"‘centric, and include clean"‘up of activities. Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play. Essential Physical Requirements: Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing. Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely. Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day. Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations.
