Job Requirements & Essential Functions of the Job: Administer the campus benefits plans for all employees. This includes: Advising employees when enrolling in benefits and managing the open enrollment process. Conducting educational benefits programs. Ensuring the campus is following policies and procedures as it related to benefits administration. Managing retirement programming and processing. Coordinating other programs including life insurance/survivor benefits, flex spending accounts, long term care insurance, and education benefits. Management of all benefits systems. Administer the campus leaves program which includes overseeing all types of leaves and consulting with employees on next steps. Ensure the campus is following policies and procedures as it relates to leave administration. Provide Human Resources support for the Research Foundation for SUNY (RF). This includes but is not limited to leave administration, benefits administration, search processes and consultation with supervisors and employees. Provide training and development programs to the campus through in person training, online training and outside resources. Serve on campus committees to include but limited to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Individual Development Awards. Oversee time and attendance services and administer the classified sick watch program. Oversee payroll function including supervision of payroll staff. Collaborate with the campus Title IX officer for employee Title IX cases, including serving as the appeal person for employee Title IX hearings. Prepare and process personnel transactions as needed. Assist Vice President and Director of Human Resources Operations as needed. May be responsible for day-to-day operations should the Vice President or Director of Human Resources Operations be unavailable. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
