About the job Clinical Lab Scientist Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) - Full TimePay Range: $44.25 - $61.96 per hourBonuses: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (for candidates with 3+ years CLS experience) Shift: (12-hour Night) or (Variable 10 hour shifts)About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory tests and play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic results that directly impact patient care.You will work across multiple laboratory departments including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, Serology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation, supporting a diverse patient population from newborns to geriatrics.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiencyConduct and document daily quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with standardsPerform preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipmentAccurately analyze and report test results, including critical values to physicians and care teamsMaintain compliance with laboratory protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsAssist in supervising laboratory operations in the absence of leadershipCollaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staffParticipate in on-call rotations, holidays, and emergency/disaster response as requiredPatient PopulationYou will support testing and diagnostics for a broad range of patients, including:Newborns and pediatric patientsAdolescents and adultsGeriatric patientsInternal staff, physicians, and the broader communityQualificationsEducation & Training:Bachelor's degree in a science-related fieldCompletion of a California-approved CLS training program (1 year)Experience:Minimum 1 year experience (CLS Trainee Program completion required)3+ years experience preferred for sign-on bonus eligibilityLicensure:Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License (Required)Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication and teamwork skillsBasic computer proficiencyAbility to interpret technical procedures, reports, and dataWork Environment & ExpectationsMust be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shiftsExpected to respond during emergencies and community disasters as requiredDemonstrates professionalism, accountability, and adherence to ethical standardsMaintains a collaborative and respectful work environmentWhy Join Us?Competitive pay with strong bonus incentivesOpportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-specialty lab environmentCareer growth and skill development opportunitiesSupportive team culture focused on quality patient careApply TodayIf you're a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist looking to make an impact in patient care while growing your career, we encourage you to apply today.WellTech Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
