25hr Handyman/ Carpenter

Facilities Technician As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and construction tasks at restaurant and retail facilities. This includes assembling tables, hanging TV mounts, repairing walls, changing lights, basic plumbing repairs, painting, and building small carpentry fixtures. You will utilize hand and power tools, paint, fix electrical outlets, and perform other indoor maintenance tasks. You will also need to read blueprints and manuals and interact with customers. Additional duties include taking out demo trash and loading/unloading materials for projects. Responsibilities Perform facilities maintenance and construction tasks. Assemble tables and hang TV mounts. Repair walls, change lights, and perform basic plumbing repairs. Paint and build small carpentry fixtures. Use hand and power tools effectively. Read blueprints and manuals accurately. Interact professionally with customers. Take out demo trash and load/unload materials for projects. Essential Skills Background in carpentry or facilities maintenance. Proficient use of hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in painting, electrical work, and drywall repair. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portage, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
