Maintenance mechanic

Direct Hire Opportunity! Are you an experienced and skilled Maintenance Mechanic looking for a new opportunity in the Industrial Maintenance Industry? Position Focus: You will be responsible for the setup, repair, and preventative maintenance of critical production and processing equipment. This hands-on role that requires you to work directly with the Operations and Engineering teams to ensure machinery is properly adjusted, correctly located and running at peak condition. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three (3) years of experience or technical school training in a mechanic or related craft. Solid knowledge of assembly line functions, machinery operation, and the ability to read technical manuals/blueprints. Physical Demands: This is a continuous, hands-on role requiring frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying. Continuous stooping/bending, reaching/pivoting, and gross motor skills are required. salary: $38,000 - $53,999.99 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities Performs set up, repair, preventative maintenance and on line adjustments to production equipment. Diagnose problems or faults of machines and make all minor repairs to maintain production and minimize downtime. General knowledge of the production equipment, its maintenance requirements, set up procedures and applications relating to the operations of the assigned department. Following regulations concerning housekeeping, recordkeeping, cleaning and sanitation procedures of all production and processing equipment assigned. Responsible for following all safety regulations including but not limited to, wearing goggles, face shields, proper clothing, equipment lockout procedures, etc. Responsible for the proper documentation of machine operation through the use of downtime and/or preventative maintenance sheets on assigned equipment.
