Job Summary: In this role, you will manage activities, workflow, and nursing resources for the assigned unit(s). Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing staff. Identify and resolve challenges impacting patient care delivery. Develop and implement effective policies and procedures. Manage budget compliance; monitor expenses and purchases. Collaborate to create programs that enhance nursing practice. Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing services. Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff with 24-hour accountability. Other duties as assigned. Adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, Code of Ethics, and Social Policy Statement. Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required: Registered Nurse licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health. Obtain BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 60 days of hire. Education: BSN required; MSN preferred.
