Bond Health - Clinical Pharmacist – Full-Time Contract (Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM)Pollock, Louisiana! Overview: The Pharmacist will provide clinical and operational pharmacy services at FCC Pollock, a federal correctional facility. This is a great opportunity to serve in a rewarding federal healthcare role at the Federal Correctional Complex in Pollock, Louisiana. The role involves dispensing, compounding, verifying, and reviewing medications for appropriateness and compliance with Bureau of Prisons (BOP) standards. Responsibilities:-Review and interpret physician and dental prescription orders.-Prepare, label, and verify the accuracy of all dispensed medications.-Monitor patient therapy for drug interactions and contraindications.-Maintain controlled substance records and ensure secure storage.-Manage pharmacy inventory and reorders.-Prepare IV admixtures and ensure compliance with USP standards.-Provide drug information and consults to medical and nursing staff.-Adhere to all federal and institutional pharmacy regulations. Qualifications:-Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.-Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory.-Minimum of one (1) year in hospital, clinical, or correctional pharmacy preferred.-BLS/CPR certification preferred.-Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.-Must pass federal background checks (NCIC, fingerprints, credit).-Must meet DOJ residency and employment verification requirements. Schedule & Conditions:-Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday.-Federal holidays off.-Work performed onsite in the Health Services Department at FCC Pollock.-Must complete BOP security clearance, fingerprinting, and orientation prior to assignment.-Initial contract term: 12 months with potential annual renewals (up to 5 years total).
