CNC Lathe Machinist

Job description CNC Lathe Machinist - Bourne, MA Will produce high-precision machined parts in stainless steels, aluminum, bronze, brass, titanium and plastics by setting up and running CNC machining centers, manual lathes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Set up the designated machines including interpreting process sheets and setting machine parameters Responsible for operating the machine while adhering to quality parameters and in-process checks Make mechanical adjustments as needed Perform data entry Demonstrates ability to use various precise measuring instruments and interprets readings to adjust process Verifies accuracy of work pieces and recommends changes to CNC programs Construct shop setups necessary to produce quality parts EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 2-3 years of previous manufacturing experience required Experience with stainless steels, aluminum, bronze, brass, titanium and plastics Experience with multi axis and multi table sides machining. Experience with performing multiple complex set ups Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general reports, manuals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and client documents
