Payroll Specialist – Plymouth, Indiana (On-site) Salary Range:$42,000 – $50,000 annually (based on experience) Payroll Specialist | Payroll Specialist | Payroll Specialist | Payroll Specialist | Payroll Specialist About the Opportunity A growing organization in Plymouth, Indiana is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their team. This Payroll Specialist role will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll, maintaining payroll records, and supporting compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal Payroll Specialist will be hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while serving as a key resource for employees and leadership. Key Responsibilities Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees Ensure payroll accuracy including timecards, PTO, deductions, garnishments, and bonuses Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality and compliance Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Support payroll tax filings, audits, and year-end processing (W-2s) Partner with HR and Accounting on onboarding, terminations, and payroll changes Respond to employee payroll-related questions with professionalism and care Qualifications 2–5+ years of payroll processing experience Strong knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and compliance Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping software High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage deadlines and handle sensitive information discreetly Excel skills preferred Why This Role Stands Out Stable, on-site role with consistent hours Opportunity to be a key payroll point of contact Collaborative team environment Room for growth within HR and Accounting operations Click here to apply online
