Lunch and After School Teacher

Our proven program includes our STEAM-based curriculum that was recognized by the White House as a leader in early childhood STEAM education, and we are also the first California school to earn the Carnegie Science Seal of Excellence for STEM.   About the Role   The Lunch and After School Team is a vital part of our school community, carrying out many of the duties necessary for the day-to-day operations of the campus. This position will supervise elementary students in indoor and outdoor play, crafts, and snacks. Crucially, this role will be responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment for our energetic and motivated students.   What We Offer Pay range: $19-23/hourly Shift Hours Monday - Friday 10:45 AM - 1:15 PM and 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM Location: 4576 Willow Rd, Pleasanton, CA 94588 Opportunity for career advancement   You will also…   Monitoring student behavior during meal service Plan and organize after-school arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities  Assist students with homework  Collaborate with other faculty and staff members Be responsible for the safe supervision and care of students Light sweeping, wiping down tables, and trash removal   What We Are Looking For   High school graduate or GED Prior experience working with children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to connect with a variety of colleagues and students To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
