Hearing Instrument Specialist - Plattsburgh, NY Location: Plattsburgh, NY Job Type: Full-Time | On-site Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM Position Overview:Seeking a dedicated Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our clinical team in Plattsburgh, NY. This role offers a structured schedule, manageable daily caseload, and the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered hearing care in a collaborative healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient intake and hearing assessmentsPerform diagnostic evaluations for hearing and tinnitusFit, program, and fine-tune hearing aids using real-ear measurementsTake ear impressions and perform routine hearing aid repairs and validationsEducate and counsel patients on test results, device usage, and care plansPrepare detailed reports for referring physicians, including diagnosis and treatment plansMaintain accurate and compliant documentation within the EMR/EHR systemCollaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure continuity of care Qualifications:Active Hearing Aid Specialist License requiredNew graduates are welcome if licensedLicensure Requirements: New York license preferredVermont license will be consideredStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminologyExperience with hearing aid programming software and troubleshootingExcellent patient communication and counseling skills Benefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time off (PTO)Retirement plan For more information, please reach out to Riju : at (469) 378-4213 or by Email: at riju.rajan@.
