Position Type: Administration/Coordinator Date Posted: 4/10/2026 Location: Little Quakers Academy Date Available: 2026 - 2027 School Year Closing Date: Until Filled Additional Information: Show/Hide Preschool Coordinator for Little Quaker's Academy ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Lead the development and alignment of preschool programs using developmentally appropriate practices and district-wide initiatives. * Direct the full lifecycle of personnel management, including hiring, supervising, and evaluating all assigned staff. * Oversee budget priorities, resource allocation, and the procurement of necessary instructional materials and equipment. * Ensure the program meets all local, state, and federal mandates, specifically IDEA and Child Find requirements. * Proven expertise as Public Agency Representative or a commitment to undergo comprehensive training in special education leadership. * Monitor the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in the least restrictive environment * Establish policies for student safety, manage attendance, and administer equitable discipline according to the preschool handbook. * Utilize data systems to track enrollment, student progress, and overall program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement. * Act as the primary point of contact for families, responding to concerns professionally and in a timely manner. * Coordinate with district administrators, special education providers, and community agencies to ensure a holistic support system for students and their families. * Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent or Director of Special Education OTHER GENERAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Knowledge of student disabilities and strategies to address them * Proven ability to work with a team of educators and administrators to develop and support behavior management systems * Strong ability to utilize data to develop behavior management plans and systems * Excellent organizational, communication, and technology skills ENTRY LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: * Education / Training: Indiana Administrative Certification preferred. Special consideration will be given to those who demonstrate expertise in navigating the case conference process as Public Agency Representative and understanding of special education compliance. * Experience: A minimum of three years' experience in special education or early learning.
